Space Available at Bird & Jim:
We have a back area, the chandelier room, that is part of our main dining zone. It accommodates up to 50 people. This area is not walled off. It is typically set up with tables and is primarily used as part of our regular nightly dining. Our restrooms are located at the far end of this area. Parties Sizes & Menu Options:
Parties 20 – 50 For parties of 20-50 we offer our Chef's price fixed dinner menu of 3 courses for $45 (not including tax and gratuity). Beverages are not included in this price. A beverage budget can be added or a cash bar is an option. Room fee or minimum is applicable depending on the season. Price fixed lunch menu and brunch menus also available during lunch hours, $36 for three courses. Request price fixed menu quote at email@example.com.
Parties 50-70 For parties of 50-70 we offer our Chef's buffet menu. The buffet options start at $45 per person. Beverages are not included in this price. A beverage budget can be added or a cash bar is an option. Room fee or minimum is applicable depending on the season. Options (a) rent a portion of the dining room (room fee/minimum applicable depending on the season) but not lounge and bar or (b) the entire restaurant (room fee/minimum applicable depending on the season). This would be a negotiated price depending on the time frame, time of year, amount of people, menu & drink choices. Click the link below for buffet menu choices. Buffet level pricing:
The buffet menu is the same for in-house or off-site catering.
Level 1: 2 salad, 3 sides, 2 entrée -- $45
Level 2: 2 appetizers, 2 salads, 4 sides, 3 entrée --$60
Level 3: 4 appetizers, 3 salads, 4 sides, 4 entrée -- $76
For Parties Over 70, you can rent the entire restaurant or have us cater to you at an event site. The price is negotiable depending on the time frame, time of year, and amount of people, menu & drink choices.
The booking fee is $15 per person 30 guests, $15 x 30=$450. If you add extra people you will have to pay the additional fee. The booking fee is not refundable, it will not be applied as a credit towards your final bill, if you cancel your event this booking fee will not be refundable.
Food & Beverage Deposit:
Depending on the size of your party we may ask for a food and beverage deposit--this will be negotiated with your event coordinator. The food & beverage deposit is typically 25% of your final anticipated bill. If you cancel 90 days or more prior to your event your food and beverage deposit will be refunded. If you cancel 90 days or less before your event Bird & Jim reserves the right to keep the full food and beverage deposit. If you cancel 30 days or less prior to your event Bird & Jim reserves the right to charge 50% of total negotiated bill.
Room Fees or Minimum:
In addition to your deposit, we will ask for a room fee or a minimum price met—this will be negotiated with your event coordinator. The booking deposit will not be deducted from your final bill. A room fee will not be deducted from your final bill. If you are negotiating a full buy-out and a minimum price is arranged, the remainder will be charged at the completion of the event. If you cancel 90 days or more prior to your event your deposit will be refunded. If you cancel less than 90 days before your event Bird & Jim reserves the right to keep the full deposit. If you cancel 30 days or less prior to your event Bird & Jim reserves the right to charge 50% of the total negotiated bill.

Local tax is 8.7% and 20% gratuity added to all large parties.
Event Manager 4% of total (minus tax) tip
Banquet Captain: $30 per hour
Sommelier: $300 includes working with you personally to pick out wines and be present during event.
Server: $18 per hour per server
Station attendants: $30 per hour per person
Chef on-site: $50 per hour per chef
Dishwasher: $18 per person per hour
20% gratuity will be added for all food and beverage items.
All bar sales are subject to 20% tip

Final Guest Count:
Is appreciated a month before but mandatory 10 days prior to the event. If no final guest count is given we will prepare food for the amount in the contract.
Can be made up to 10 days before the event but could result in an additional charge.
We have quoted you a minimum price if guests are added the price may go up. If the amount of people drops the price will stay at the minimum quoted.
To accommodate all our guests, there is a 2.5 hours dining limit for all large parties. For every 15 minutes that you go over we will charge $150 for parties 20-40. For parties 41+ we will charge $350 for every 15 min.
Linens, flowers, decorations can be provided by local companies. If you want Bird & Jim to handle these details an additional fee will be added.
You can speak to our pastry chef for prices or arrange your own. If you want Bird & Jim catering to handle these details an additional fee will be added.
50% of the total will be charged if the event is canceled within a month’s time of the event
85% will be charged if the event is canceled the day of.
