Space Available at Bird & Jim:
We have a back area, the chandelier room, that is part of our main dining zone. This area is not walled off. It is typically set up with tables and is primarily used as part of our regular nightly dining. Our restrooms are located at the far end of this area. Because of the lack of walls and the restroom location the room cannot be private. Please send questions to email@example.com
Parties Sizes & Menu Options:
Parties 8-20 -- For parties up to 20 people we offer our Chef's price fixed dinner menu of 3 courses for $47 (not including tax and gratuity). Beverages are not included in this price. A beverage budget can be added or a cash bar is an option. The room fee or minimum is applicable depending on the season. Price fixed lunch menu and brunch menus are also available during lunch hours, $38 for three courses. Request price fixed menu quote at firstname.lastname@example.org. Ordering off the seasonal menu is an option to discuss with your event coordinator.
Parties 20+ -- For parties over 20 please see our newly built venue site right across the street from Bird & Jim, The Bird's Nest

The booking fee is $15 per person 30 guests, $15 x 30=$450. If you add extra people you will have to pay the additional fee. The booking fee is not refundable, it will not be applied as a credit towards your final bill, if you cancel your event this booking fee will not be refundable.
Food & Beverage Deposit:
Depending on the size of your party we may ask for a food and beverage deposit--this will be negotiated with your event coordinator. The food & beverage deposit is typically 25% of your final anticipated bill. If you cancel 90 days or more prior to your event your food and beverage deposit will be refunded. If you cancel 90 days or less before your event Bird & Jim reserves the right to keep the full food and beverage deposit. If you cancel 30 days or less prior to your event Bird & Jim reserves the right to charge 50% of the total negotiated bill.
Room Fees or Minimum:
In addition to your deposit, we will ask for a room fee or a minimum price met—this will be negotiated with your event coordinator. The booking deposit will not be deducted from your final bill. A room fee will not be deducted from your final bill. If you are negotiating a full buy-out and a minimum price is arranged, the remainder will be charged at the completion of the event. If you cancel 90 days or more prior to your event your deposit will be refunded. If you cancel less than 90 days before your event Bird & Jim reserves the right to keep the full deposit. If you cancel 30 days or less prior to your event Bird & Jim reserves the right to charge 50% of the total negotiated bill.
Taxes & Gratuity are not included in any of the prices.
Local tax is 8.7% and 20% gratuity is added to all large parties.
Event Manager 4% of the total (minus tax) tip
Banquet Captain: $30 per hour
Sommelier: $300 includes working with you personally to pick out wines and be present during the event.
Server: $18 per hour per server
Station attendants: $30 per hour per person
Chef on-site: $50 per hour per chef
Dishwasher: $18 per person per hour
20% gratuity will be added for all food and beverage items.
All bar sales are subject to 20% tip
Final Guest Count:
Is appreciated a month before but mandatory 1 week prior to the event. If no final guest count is given we will prepare food for the amount in the contract.
Can be made up to 10 days before the event but could result in an additional charge.
We have quoted you a minimum price if guests are added the price may go up. If the amount of people drops the price will stay at the minimum quoted.
To accommodate all our guests, there is a 2.5 hours dining limit for all large parties. For every 15 minutes that you go over, we will charge $150 for parties.
Linens, flowers, decorations can be provided by local companies. If you want Bird & Jim to handle these details an additional fee will be added.
