About the event
CRAFTING WINES OF THE AMERICAN WEST SINCE 1995 Twenty years ago on a Ranch, deep in South West Colorado a tiny Vineyard was planted. The date stands out as it was the birth of a fundamentally new approach to winemaking in Colorado. That legacy is both maintained and developed, arguably defining and leading the burgeoning Colorado Wine industry.
Owner and winemaker John Sutcliffe, "who a few decades ago managed legendary eateries such as Maxwell’s Plum and Tavern on the Green in New York City, still hosts a procession of big names from the restaurant, movie, fashion and other industries."
“Princess Caroline of Monaco drank my very first bottle of cabernet franc standing in the kitchen eating fried eggs (from his own chickens) for breakfast.” (Sutcliffe website & Denver Post, May 2016) John Sutcliffe
